OTERO CAPTURES #HLSD MEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK HONORS – IU Indy Athletics

INDIANAPOLIS – IU Indianapolis men’s diver Sebastian Otero has been named this week’s Horizon League Men’s Diver of the Week after a standout performance at the IU Indy Invitational inside the IU Natatorium on Saturday (Oct. 8). It marks the second straight week he’s earned the award to start the season. 

Otero swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at the IU Indy Invite, winning the 1-meter with a score of 341.90. He also posted a 3-meter winning score of 338.80. He outscored his closest competition by more than 26 points in the 1-meter event. 

Otero was a six-time honoree last season.
