The Winnipeg Jets (46-17-4) solidified their hold on the Central Division with a 4-1 win against the Dallas Stars (42-21-2) at Canada Life Centre on Friday night. Dylan Samberg, Kyle Connor, and Morgan Barron were the goal scorers for the Jets. Connor Hellebuyck made 24 saves.

Mason Marchment scored the lone goal for the Stars. Jake Oettinger made 18 saves.
Game Recap
The Jets opened the scoring at 8:01 of the first period on a Samberg wrist shot from the high slot. At 17:02, Connor scored his first of the night and 34th of the season with a one-timer from the left circle, to give the Jets a 2-0 lead heading into the second period.
Connor scored his second of the night at 6:43 of the middle frame, capitalizing on a perfect pass from Josh Morrissey with a slap shot right in front of Oettinger.
The Stars won the shot battle 17-10 after 40 minutes, but couldn’t generate quality scoring chances to beat Hellebuyck, and went 0-for-1 on the first power play of the game.
Winnipeg put the game away for good at 7:26 of the third on a Dylan Demelo shot from the right circle that Barron got a piece of before beating Oettinger.
Evgenii Dadonov set up Marchment for his 16th goal of the season, which finally put the Stars on the board at 16:11.
The Stars outshot the Jets 25-22. Both teams went 0-for-1 with the man advantage.

Both teams are back in action on Sunday. The Jets will travel to Seattle to take on the Kraken. Mikko Rantanen will play his first game against his former club, as the Jets travel to Colorado to take on the Avalanche.
