HADLEY, Mass. – Eight Connecticut College student-athletes were named to their respective NESCAC Winter All-Sportsmanship Teams, as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.
Senior Andrew Hartel (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) of men’s basketball, senior Catie Donadio (Clinton, Conn.) of women’s basketball, sophomore Andrew Eberling (Mount Laurel, N.J.) of men’s hockey, senior Kate Hagness (Madison, Conn.) of women’s hockey, junior Henry Pelletier (West Hartford, Conn.) of men’s squash, senior Isabel Schumacher (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) of women’s squash, senior Andrew Bartolomucci (Milford, N.H.) of men’s swimming and diving, and sophomore Emma Lent (Acton, Mass.) of women’s swimming and diving all made the team.
Of the 85 individuals honored this winter, only eight hold multiple All-Sportsmanship Team citations. Included in that group are Donadio and Bartolomucci; the former earned the honor in 2024 while the latter did so in 2023.
The NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes from each varsity sport who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to sportsmanship. These student-athletes exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, opponents and spectators. They display sportsmanship, not only as a participant in their sport, but also as a spectator and in their everyday lives. Through their positive actions and example, these student-athletes inspire others to adhere to the quality of sportsmanship that the NESCAC and the NCAA endorse.
