The Muskingum University Athletics community is filled with gratitude following the Athletics Day of Giving, where the generosity of our incredible supporters fueled a truly inspiring campaign.
On September 9, Muskie Nation rallied together and raised more than $129,000 from 684 donors, directly benefitting Muskingum student-athletes, coaches, and all 25 varsity programs. This outpouring of support reflects the pride, passion, and commitment that define what it means to be a Muskie.
“Grateful. Humbled. Inspired. ADOG was a huge success and a great example of the power behind Muskie Nation,” said Muskingum Director of Athletics Kari Winters. “We had the majority of our programs hit their donor/dollar goal, and that speaks volumes for the energy that our teams carried throughout the day. I am most excited to watch how the dollars that were raised impact our student-athletes and the athletic-related experiences that they will have during this academic year. To all of the generous donors, no matter the dollar amount, thank you! Thank you for supporting all of the good that we have going on within Muskingum Athletics. We see you and we appreciate your support!”
This success was only possible because of the extraordinary giving spirit of our alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends. Together, we made an impact, and together, we continue to show the world the strength of Muskie Nation.
